Wing Commander Shubhanshu Shukla is an Indian astronaut and fighter pilot. He is one of the four astronauts currently undergoing training for India’s inaugural human space flight mission, “Gaganyaan”. On 27 February 2024, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the identities of four astronauts during his visit to the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) in Thumba, Kerala.
