In the 2022-23 Ranji Trophy quarterfinal match against Punjab, Parth Bhut shone with the bat and scored an unbeaten 111 to help Saurashtra go past 300. When Parth came into bat at number nine, his team was reeling at 147 for eight and his maiden century lifted the team total to 303. He followed it with a half-century in the second inning and also picked 7 wickets in the match to help his team defeat Punjab by 71 runs. Parth Bhut entered the record books by taking 12 wickets against the Rest of India in the 2023 Irani Cup final to become the sixth bowler after Srinivas Venkataraghavan (1969), Gopal Sharma (1988), Anil Kumble (1992), Sairaj Bahutule (1997), and Dodda Ganesh (1996) to take two fifers in an Irani Cup match. After taking 5 wickets in the 1st innings, the left-arm spinner again led Saurashtra’s fightback with his career-best figures of seven for 53 in the second innings to restrict RoI for 160.
