Nupur Nagpal is an Indian actress best known for her role as Dhatrapriya in College Romance (2021-2024). She was born on January 2, 1995, into a Punjabi Khatri Hindu family to Sanjay Nagpal and Vinita Nagpal in New Delhi, India.

Nupur is the only child of her parents and does not have any siblings. Several websites have incorrectly mentioned Prisha Nagpal and Bhavini Nagpal as her real sisters; they are actually her cousins. In a July 2023 interview with FilmiBeat, she revealed that after she posted a picture with a friend named Prashant, several websites started incorrectly stating she had a brother named Prashant Nagpal. 6
She graduated from the prestigious Lady Shri Ram College for Women in New Delhi and then studied Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design – The New School in New York, United States. 7 8 9
While in college, she participated in the Clean & Clear Delhi Times Fresh Face 2010 and was adjudged the first runner-up. 7
She began her acting career as a theatre artist and has been associated with the Thespian Society since 2011. She has acted in several theatre plays, including “Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai Na” and “Delhi-Ciously Chekov”. 10 11
In 2018, she shared the stage with veteran actor-comedian Govardhan Asrani in the play “Makhichoos”, an Indian adaptation of the French play “L’Avare”. 12

Nupur met actor Pranav Sachdev for the first time during their college days in 2010 while working on the theatre play “Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai Na”. The duo started dating in 2011 and tied the knot on December 10, 2021. 13 14
Nupur Nagpal made her OTT debut in 2017 in the MensXP Original Series “Dilliwood”, where she played the role of Gurleen. 15
She made her Bollywood debut in 2019, playing a supporting role as Natasha Sabharwal, Sahher Bambba‘s childhood friend, in the Karan Deol-starrer “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas”.
Nupur rose to fame in 2021 after playing the role of a nerdy girl named Dhatrapriya in Season 2 of the TVF web series “College Romance”, which premiered on Sony LIV. She reprised this role in Seasons 3 and 4. Interestingly, she initially auditioned for the role of Hippy before bagging the role of Dhatrapriya. 16
She played the role of Guri’s girlfriend Pragati in the TVF web series Aspirants (2021). 17
In 2021, she starred as Palak Mahajan in the thriller web series “Tabbar”, earning a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the Critics’ Choice Awards 2022. 18 19
