Mrinalini Sharma is an Indian former actress and entrepreneur. She was born on 27 September 1979 into a Brahmin Hindu family to Vinod Sharma and Premla Sharma in New Delhi, India. She has a younger brother named Karan Sharma. 1 2 3 4
She attended Carmel Convent School in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, and graduated with a degree in English Literature from Jesus and Mary College (JMC) at the University of Delhi. 5 6 7
After completing her studies, she pursued modeling as a hobby, featuring in television commercials for brands like Maruti, Graviera Suitings, Sunsilk, Anchor Switches, Pears, Motorola, ICICI Prudential, Samsung, and Tiger Balm. 7
In 2001, she featured in the music video for the song “Gori Teri Aankhen Kahe” sung by Lucky Ali & Kavita Krishnamurthy, which brought her instant recognition. Next year, she was appeared in the music video for “Meri Neend” by Indipop boy band, A Band of Boys. 8
