He was born on January 18, 1962 to Shashi Kapoor and Jennifer Kendal in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He has an elder brother Kunal Kapoor and a younger sister Sanjana Kapoor. | |
| Karan Kapoor made his acting debut in Shyam Benegal's Junoon (1978) and later acted in movies like 36 Chowringhee Lane (1981), Sultanat (1986), Loha (1987), Zalzala (1988) and Afsar (1988). But he could not establish himself as an actor because of his english looks so he quit acting and took photography as his profession. Currently he runs a photography company in the UK. | |
