Kabir Bedi is an Internationally acclaimed Indian actor. He is one of India's most famous international actors having acted in the James Bond's movie Octopussy (1983) and Italian series Sandokan (1976) which made him a major star across all of Europe.
Kabir Bedi was born on January 16, 1946 to Baba Pyare Lal Singh Bedi and Freda Bedi. He has a brother Ranga Bedi and a sister Gulhima Bedi.
His father, Baba Pyare Lal Singh Bedi, a Punjabi was an author and philosopher and his mother, Freda Bedi, a British who was born in Derby, England and was famous as the first western woman to become a Tibetan Buddhist nun.
He did his schooling from Sherwood School, Nainital, Uttarakhand and later graduated from St. Stephen’s College, New Delhi
He is best known in Italy and Europe for playing the pirate Sandokan in the popular Italian TV mini series and for his role as the villainous Gobinda in the 1983 James Bond film Octopussy.
Kabir Bedi has been a voting member of the Oscars Academy since 1982.
He has acted in the movies of 5 languages Hindi, English, Italian, Telugu & Malayalam.

He later married British-born fashion designer Susan Humphreys (Now known as Ixchel Leigh) in 1980. Adam Bedi is his son from his marriage with Susan. The couple divorced in 1990.
Kabir got married for the third time to TV and radio presenter Nikki Bedi in 1992. They had no children and divorced in 2005.
Kabir Bedi married for the fourth time to Parveen Dusanj on January 15, 2016. Kabir and Parveen have an age gap of 29 years.
