JioCinema ratings down to 1.1 on Play Store and 1.3 on App Store
The ratings of the streaming platform JioCinema have fallen down to 1.1 Google Play Store and to 1.3 on Apple App Store following the eviction of Puneet Superstar from the reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 2 within just 24 hours of his entry in the show.
Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 hosted by Salman Khan is currently streaming on the JioCinema. This year’s Bigg Boss OTT contestants referred to as Housemates are Falaq Naaz, Jiya Shankar, Abhishek Malhan, Cyrus Broacha, Manisha Rani, Jad Hadid, Avinash Sachdev, Bebika Dhurve, Aaliya Siddiqui, Puneet Superstar, Pooja Bhatt, Akanksha Puri, and Palak Purswani.
Social media sensation Puneet Kumar, popularly known as Puneet Superstar also referred to as Lord Puneet by his fans grabbed the limelight from the moment he entered the Bigg Boss house with his antics (for which he is famous). Right from smearing his face with toothpaste, pouring liquid hand wash over his head, or tampering with the cameras, Puneet Superstar did it all. He also allegedly even pooped on top of the commode seat.
Following all this, Bigg Boss asked the other fellow contestants to vote whether they can stay in the house with Puneet or not. As majority of the fellow contestants wanted him out of the house, so Puneet was asked to leave the show immediately.
Why JioCinema Rating Down on Play Store and App Store
The decision to evict Puneet Superstar does not go down well with his fans as they believe that he was evicted unfairly so they started expressing their disappointment by giving low ratings to the JioCinema app on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. As a result of this backlash, JioCinema’s rating on Play Store has dropped to 1.1 stars in just a few days. Jio Cinema is no longer among the top-ranked applications of the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Fans are also demanding that Puneet Superstar be reinstated on the show through a wild card entry.
