After purchasing a 4BHK apartment in Legacy Cooperative Housing Society, Bandra (W), Deepa and her husband were asked to pay a bribe by the society’s secretary, Amba Ravji Patel, to transfer the flat in their name. The secretary also attempted to influence Parvin Dabas, the society chairman, to withdraw a case against him. Deepa and Parvin recorded these interactions and submitted the evidence to the police, resulting in an FIR being filed against Patel in October 2014. 8 9 | |
