Andrea Kevichüsa also known as CarolAndrea Kevichüsa is an Indian model and actress known for Anek (2022). She was born on February 18, 2001 in Kohima, Nagaland. She belongs to famous Kevichüsa family of Nagaland whose founder Kevichüsa Angami is regarded as the first Naga graduate.
She was born and raised in Kohima, Nagaland and is the youngest of five sisters. Her late father belonged to the Angami tribe and her mother belongs to Ao Naga tribe.
She attended an all-girls' Catholic school, Little Flower Higher Secondary School in Kohima, Nagaland till her 10th standard after which she moved to Shillong, Meghalaya to complete the rest of her schooling.
Andrea started modelling as a hobby at the age of just 15 years and started getting offers. She has collaborated with well-known fashion designers like Sabyasachi Mukherjee and has also worked for Katrina Kaif's beauty line, Kay Beauty.
She made her bollywood debut in Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Anek (2022) in which she played the role of a national lever boxer in the movie. The film also stars J.D. Chakravarthy, Deeplina Deka, Loitongbam Dorendra, Manoj Pahwa and Kumud Mishra. It was released in theatres on 27 May 2022.
Andrea Kevichüsa is the first actor/actress from the North East to land a leading lady role in a bollywood movie. In an interview Andrea spoke about how much landing the role means to her and for Northeast representation. Andrea said, "The fact that when I grew up I saw no one who looked like have a major platform not just in this industry but any industry. And now if I got the opportunity to do it, I think it's a really big step. I hope that this film resonates with a lot of people and opens more doors in the future. Many times when the northeastern actors are represented, they are often misrepresented. So this is a really important film and I hope it does well."
She has been featured on the cover page of Harper's Bazaar India's November 2019 issue.
Andrea Kevichusa has been featured on the cover page of the Filmfare magazine for the May 2022 edition alongside actor Ayushmann Khurrana.
Andrea revealed in an interview that she is dating someone and is in a very happy relationship but didn't disclosed his name.
