She was born on 28 August 1982 to Wilbur Rimes and Belinda Butler Rimes in Jackson, Mississippi, United States, and was raised in Garland, Texas at an apartment complex named Pecan Knoll. LeAnn is the only child of her parents and does not have any siblings. 5
Her parents, Wilbur Rimes and Belinda Butler got divorced in 1997. After the divorce, Wilbur Rimes got married to Vicki Rimes, and Belinda Butler got married to Ted Miller.
